Friendly Kids Tech with the Verizon Gizmopal

Parenthood can be challenging. Parenthood can be overwhelming. Parenthood can make you stress over the simplest things in order to keep your children safe. As the mom of a toddler, I can constantly be heard telling my son not to “touch that, go there, or eat that.” My son is so used to all of my precautions that he enjoys making me nervous as he engages in certain activities with a mischievous smirk knowing I’m about to say “NO.” The one activity that I don’t object to is his curiosity when it comes to kid gadgets like the Verizon Gizmopal.

The LG Gizmopal is the latest device in kids wearble tech for ages 4 and up. Once you take Gizmopal out of the box, your kids can wear it like a watch. I loved that it was lightweight, durable and comfortable for little hands and wrists. Now let’s get into what it does.

Gizmopal Features

-Voice Calling which features a single-button where calls can be placed between the the parent and child

-GPS Locator which shows your child’s location in real time

-Water Resistant

-Makes fun sounds that kids will like hearing

When you first purchase Gizmopal,  the first thing you need to do is download the Gizmopal app which is available on the App store and Google Play.

I absolutely love how the app shows the exact location of your child, but also allows for you to add additional contacts who can communicate with your child. It’s perfect for emergency scenarios. While my mini me was a little more interested in the Verizon Droid Turbo than the Gizmopal, I’m glad he wasn’t bothered by the device on his arm. Usually he’s pretty picky with objects on him like stickers, jewelry or additional items of clothing. But luckily this works. I’m definitely treasuring these moments where he likes to be around” mom” as opposed to when he reaches his pre-teen years and I’ll need a tracker as a necessity and not an option.

The Gizmopal retails for $79.99 and comes in pink or blue colors. You can check out more information about Verizon’s 4G LTE service on their website.

Disclosure: I was sent the from Verizon Droid Turbo and Verizon Gizmopal from Verizon for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own.
