Everyone knows winter is the time of season to lather up your skin and moisturize your sexy–sidenote: remember when Diddy said that in his Proactive commerical?! Still cracks me up…hehe. Anyway, a good moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated, youthful and supple. Since I have acne prone skin, I tend to use lighter moisturizers without any fragrance and it must be oil-free. Moisturizing balms are the latest beauty craze and not just for your lips. Boscia is one of my favorite skin care brands and I was so excited they sent me their latest moisturizer, the Boscia Sake Balm.
So what is the Boscia Sake Balm?
It’s a gel-textured moisturizer infused with fine grades of sake. It’s used to hydrate and brighten the skin, giving it a more dewy glow.
I love to experiment with skincare and when I first used the Sake Balm, I was curious about it’s jelly-like consistency. But this moisturizer easily absorbs into your skin. It’s also free of preservatives and artificial fragrance.
As I’m getting older, I’m definitely more concerned about developing a consistent skincare routine to keep my skin as youthful as possible. Trust me, I know aging is inevitable, but I’ve always read that prevention is key when it comes to achieving flawless skin. So that means, no leaving on the makeup overnight, drinking more water and keeping my hands off of my face.
The Boscia Sake Balm can be found at Sephora.
Disclosure: I was sent the Boscia Sake Balm for review. However all opinions are 100% my own.
