Beauty Meets Style at Lucky FABB!

If you’re familiar with the blogging world of fashion and beauty then you’ve probably heard of Lucky FABB , short for Fashion and Beauty Blog. It’s a conference that started in Los Angeles in 2012 and has made its way back to New York City for October 2013. It was definitely the place to be for influencers in the fashion and beauty blogosphere to network with other bloggers, brands and brush up on your social media skills.

The first day of the conference was all about panel discussions and tips on how to improve your blog. The highlight of one of the panels was listening to one of my favorite style bloggers, Gabi Gregg of  GABIFRESH  talk about her “Do’s and Don’ts of Blogging” and “How To Stay True To Your Brand.” I spotted her during one of the conference breaks and asked for a photo. I was a bit nervous about approaching her, but she was super sweet! Peep the photo below:

Lucky FABB also featured celebrity star power with actresses Eva Mendes and Lucky Magazine covergirl Kate Bosworth who both talked about their favorite key style elements.

PS–Did you know that Eva Mendes teamed up with NY & Company for her own line of trendy, stylish and affordable clothing?! The looks are chic, modern and can be worn in the workplace and for a night on the town.

Another fun part of the conference was not only mingling with other bloggers, but getting the chance to have a “brand experience.” A few sponsored brands in attendance were: Charming Charlie (online accessories and apparel) , LAGOS (luxury accessory pieces), Covet Fashion (free app for personalized styling) , Fabletics (stylish active wear), P&G Beauty, just to name a few.

Although I consider myself a newbie blogger, the conference really inspired me to keep taking the steps I need to in order to build my brand. Blogging can lead to so many wonderful new ventures that I can only dream of! How cool would it be to have my own book, accessories or beauty line? The sky is really the limit!

Thanks Lucky Magazine for having me at this one of a kind conference!

Are you living your dream?
