Momtrends Holiday Soiree!

Happy Holidays everyone! Okay, I know Thanksgiving is a few weeks away and Christmas is more than a month away, but Momtrends brought in the holiday cheer early with their annual #MTHoliday aka Momtrends Holiday Soiree!

I was super excited to finally attend a blogging event. My work schedule is super busy and I’m having trouble balancing everything including this blog. Anyway, I was so grateful to catch up with some blogger pals and chat with some cool brands.

Before I could enjoy some grown up time with the Momtrends team, I had to drop my son off with The Nanny League. For those unfamiliar with The Nanny League, it’s an elite placement agency pairing nannies and high profile families. My son was a little hesitant to go with the nannies at first, but their expertise and friendliness made him completely comfortable. The nannies on staff helped the kids create fun snowmen with juice bottles, arts and crafts with a holiday theme and also gave the kids prizes. My son won a cool puzzle!

Now on to the event. Guest were served plantain chips with guacamole and a choice of three specialty beverages made with POM Wonderful

The guac was AMAZING and was served with pomegranate inside of it. I’m no Rachel Ray when it comes to cooking, but the addition of the pomegranate was delicious and something that I can definitely duplicate if I decide to throw a holiday party.

As I made my way around the event space, my first stop was Mudpuppy and Galison . The brand has coloring/craft books, wooden magnetic letters, puzzles, kid journals and more for kids ages 2 and older. These would be great affordable gifts for kids who like to do more creative activities.

If you’re looking to create those family game-night memories, some of your favorite Hasbro games like Monopoly have been updated, while other games still have that child-hood charm like Operation. Can I just tell you that I used to be the worst surgeon when it came to that game?!

As you can see, a lot of the traditional board games are now digital. In the photo above, the Monopoly game has its own app. However, since you can still play with multiple players, you can still have family fun.

If you remember my Momtrends Holiday recap from last year, you may remember that Momtrends is known for their FAB fashion shows! This year the event featured some gorgeous bloggers wearing outfits from the super stylish brand Cabi.

One of my favorite pieces from Cabi was the skater skirt and leopard belted khaki trench coat. What makes the Cabi brand stand a part from other clothing lines is the fact that you can select a stylist that will bring the latest styles to YOUR HOME. That means no long lines or getting out of your pajamas. It’s also the perfect setting for a girls night in to purchase and build upon your personal style.

To capture those special moments whether you’re with family or just want to have fun with picture taking, I loved getting to know about the new advancements with Epson.

Epson has created a new Ecotank Supertank printer which includes up to two years of ink! The ink is liquid and that means no more monthly trips to buy ink cartridges. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a smaller printer to print out pictures in a hurry, check out the portable Epson Picturemate Personal Photolab Printer seen above.

I loved how the sample pictures came out so crisp and clear. Of course, Epson had a photobooth where I posed with some festive holiday props.

Cheers to Momtrends for another FAB Holiday Soiree!
